Dogs that have bitten someone by protecting their owners or defending their own lives should not face execution.  A canine bites when certain stress thresholds are crossed. People that do not properly take care of their dogs should receive punishment, not the animal. Dogs that are left unattended in yards without food and water,  who are poorly trained, or not socialized bite more often then other dogs. According to the cdc,   more than 4.7 million dog-bites occur in the United States every year. When abused children act out of aggression and violence society does not punish them.   Abused dogs should not receive punishment either.

If a dog bites,  investigators should find out why he or she bit. If it was the owners fault then  they should receive a punishment.   There should be a cps for dogs just like  their is a cps for children. There’s a lot of people who love their dog just like they are their own children. If the owner is not a good owner then they should take the dog to cps and give it away  to someone who actually loves him and takes care of him.   If the owner is a good owner then he or she should not receive any punishment and just get their dog back.
